These two volumes are available in well-presented editions with helpful explanatory notes for both teachers and students.
Scales are presented in order of complexity, which from experience, form a logical development of essential violin technique. In addition to scales and arpeggios, chromatic scales, dominant and diminished VII are presented. I have left out double stops as these are easily taught after these two manuals have been exhausted.
